Anger, a Valuable Emotion

I have found anger to be a very beneficial emotion. It helps me to get past my teachings from my parents. Of course like most parents they taught me to do what they wanted instead of what i want. They taught me to follow the outer voices in my world and not the voice of myself. They taught me away from that.

To heal it is necessary to have some anger…so that i may throw off the tyranny of those outer voices. It is a frightening thing to let go of what everybody else thinks. And to get through that i need anger.

I like to think of anger as the feeling of new life surging through me. Life i have not allowed before. When it is time to let go of something anger helps me.

No more am i a sweet little girl who does what she is told, this is not the Anne many would have show up…

But growth and letting go mean just that, moving forward and to do that i need all my power…i find my power through anger…it is a beautiful emotion, and it has it’s place and it’s value.

Just like everything else, there is a time for anger.

I encourage you to allow your anger, it is necessary to get free from what others think, so that you may listen to your own voice…

Anger is often amplified by our limitations. Be thankful for the handicaps of your limitations. See the situation in love. There are no bad guys, there are no good guys. There is only love. Know that what you put out comes back to you. There is no one else to send the energy towards. Do unto others as you would have done unto you. You are both the first cause and the last effect. The Alpha and the Omega.

  4. I am a firm believer in allowing all my emotions….and sometimes that is all I know…until the emotion gives up the gold and there is new understanding….thank you Jim!

  5. Yes, allow, allow, allow – no editing! And get comfortable with feeling (in the body) uncomfortable, let IT do it’s work in you! It has come to ” clear you out” as Rumi says in his poem “This Being Human is a Guest House”. (i think it was Rumi)

  6. Yes Sandy, exactly what you said….Life does the work when we allow it to and trust it! Thank you dear for your loving words, you life and your time here with me. Lots of love, Anne

  7. My pleasure, Anne!!!
